Music has been part of Chrissy Conway’s life for as long as she can
remember. Being involved in music, whether in writing, singing or
producing, has been a constant driving passion in her life. Influenced
by pop icons of the ‘80’s like Debbie Gibson, Chrissy began sequencing
and writing music when she was 12 years old. In 1996, a recording
deal with LaFace Records, and a subsequent move to Atlanta with her
group “Choice” opened a lot of doors and brought new opportunities
for her. While beginning to focus more on writing, she was able to
work side by side with producers such as Babyface, Darrell Simmons,
Boyz II Men, and many others.
After three years in Atlanta, she moved back home to New Jersey with
the money she had been able to save with intention of opening a studio.
She was able to get involved in various other projects, one of which
was as a co-writer/producer for Epic Records platinum-selling female
group “3LW.” As she became more and more involved in producing tracks
and writing songs, her passion to change the direction of where music
is seemingly headed grew even stronger. She realized how much music
could affect people – and felt a conviction about it having a positive
effect. Through her lyrics, Chrissy found she was able to relay an
honest and intense message, but with the popular edge that today’s
listeners are drawn to and listening for.
Currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee, Chrissy is now a member
of Sparrow Record’s trio “ZoeGirl.” Engineering, co-writing, producing
albums, and touring has kept Chrissy constantly involved in music.
A dedicated musician, Chrissy Conway is living her passion, following
her heart, and diligently using her gifts and talents to hopefully
make a difference.
